A girl with a dog
A happy pair
Each day the same things
A joy to share
Lovingly she calls him
He bounces right up
Tail wagging he bounds over
Questioningly he stands waiting
She walks to the door
Excitedly he runs over
The girl’s spirits lifting now too
Pats his head tenderly
Every time he goes out
A new adventure to the dog
Capturing energy anew
He radiates happiness
Happiness the girl feels too
For her energetic best friend
